3 of 5 Beautiful but not that reliable. May 16, 2021

I really like this watch.  The tritium illumination is very bright and the watch can easily be read in the dark.  It seems sturdy and well made but it has an unfortunate tendency to lose time overnight.  The automatic winder doesn't seem able to keep the watch going even if it is worn constantly.  As I write this the time is 2:47 pm and my watch reads 2:05.  It lost 40 minutes on my arm while I slept last night.  It's an excellent watch if you manually wind it every day or two, or if you check it against your cell phone every morning (since it only seems to stop at night.)  I sent if back to Aragon and they 'serviced' it but it still stops occasionally even if worn constantly.

This watch is built like a tank and every aspect of it exudes quality.  The watch is EASILY worth the usual asking price before discount.  Without question.  I have read people mentioning the Tritium tubes seem dim but as Wing mentions in his video about Tritium, once your eyes adjust to the darkness they are completely bright enough.  And they require no charging.  I chose this particular version because of the white face and contrasting blue hands. My second addition to my collection after the Matador 42 NH37 and I have the Divemaster 42 NH36 on the way!  As a watch collector, I can confidently type Aragon watches offer exceptional value for money!

I was hoping that the teal hands against the white face would be beautiful, and I was not disappointed! Of course, the sculptured bezel is very striking and the dark teal background of the bezel complements the rest of the watch.

The orange, green and blue tritium lume on the hands and face is narrow, but adequately bright and very attractive. Great purchase!

I have purchased quite a few Aragon Watches over the last year. This is hands down my favorite piece, the slim profile on the case compared to many fit my 7.5 inch wrist perfectly at 45. The colored blue bezel constantly catches my eye through my day.
