I'm not into quartz watches, much less into 50 mm behemots, but I had to make an exception with the Charger SS even though I knew it would look ridiculous on my 6.25" wrist. Regardless, I felt I was going to miss out on such a beautiful design.
The Charger SS has incredible presence in pictures, but in person, it is truly a smile-bringer. It just commands respect with its clean design. Nothing about it is ugly to my eyes. It all works together. The sweeping seconds hand is the icing on the cake. If I saw a stranger wearing this watch, I'd ask about it.
Although my bracelet came with easily noticeable fine scratches and handling marks from whoever assembled it, the case, dial and crystal look perfect with the naked eye. I can't believe I only paid $80 for it.
It is a humongous, heavy watch...but it looks so good and feels so good, I will wear it even if it aesthetically overpowers my left forearm and makes my already small hand look even smaller. God bless!
